Components

Dynamic UI components are small pieces of HTML, CSS and JavaScript code that represent common elements such as:

  • Buttons: To initiate actions or navigate.
  • Forms: To collect user information.
  • Navigation Menus: To organize content and guide the user.
  • Cards: To display information concisely and in a visually appealing way.
  • Alerts: To communicate important messages to the user.
  • Modals: To display pop-up content, such as dialog boxes.

Dynamic's UI components have been built using the Bootstrap UI framework.

Bootstrap and Dynamic UI

Bootstrap is a very popular design framework that provides a wide range of ready-to-use UI components. These components follow a consistent visual style and are designed to be responsive, meaning they automatically adapt to different screen sizes (desktops, tablets, mobile phones).

By using Bootstrap components, developers can save a lot of time and effort in creating user interfaces. Instead of writing all the code from scratch, they can simply incorporate the components into their project and customize them as needed.

Dynamic UI takes direct advantage of this, to develop on top of it a customization layer and additional components, specific to the financial sector, while maintaining the original properties that make Bootstrap an excellent framework to work with.

How do they work in practice?

Bootstrap components are implemented using predefined CSS classes. For example, to create a button, you simply add the btn class and other specific classes for the desired style (e.g., btn-primary for a blue button). Bootstrap also includes JavaScript to add interactivity to components, such as showing and hiding elements, validating forms, etc.

Advantages of using UI components in Bootstrap:

  • Time-saving: You don't have to reinvent the wheel every time you create an interface.
  • Visual consistency: The components follow a unified style, making it easy to create cohesive interfaces.
  • Responsiveness: The components adapt to different devices, improving the user experience.
  • Ease of use: Bootstrap's documentation is very comprehensive and guides you through the implementation and customization of components.
